No Worries

 

He sips his tea with milk.

She drinks her coffee black.

She loves Italian food.

He hates tomatoes.

 

No worries.  They're in love.

She likes opera and Sunday trips to the museum.

He sings along with Johnny Cash

        and thinks Salvador Dali leads a conga band.

 

But they say they'll find a way.  They're in love.

 

He's up before the rooster and in bed before the early news.

Midnight is her favorite hour and her eyes don't fully focus until 10 AM.

His roll-top desk doesn't accent her peacock chair very well,

    and though she loves the smell of new cut grass,

    no way will he push a lawn mower....

    rock gardens are where it's at.

 

But they're in love and love knows no obstacles.

 

So she spent their honeymoon in Hawaii.

And he saw Paris.
