Bahira appeared with Troupe Nambah in A.K.O.D! (All Kinds Of Dance), a performance free to the public at Mountain View Masonic Lodge, 890 Church Street (at Franklin), Mountain View, California. Troupe Nambah shared the afternoon with Bay Area Rhythm Tap Company, Kalanjali Dances of India, Lowell High School Dance Team, Jayendra Kalakendra Dance Company, Abhinaya Dance Company and Leslie Friedman Dance.

A.K.O.D! celebrates National Dance Week all across the nation, encouraging young (and old) people to get active and dance.

For the second year in a row, Troupe Nambah was invited by Leslie Friedman of The Lively Foundation to perform at the "Cornerstone Event" concert as part of the celebration of 2008's National Dance Week to an appreciative audience of over 60 family and friends.
