Private Party for Kay Brown - February 26, 2011

Bahira performed with Indigenous at the home of her good friend, Kay Brown in Palo Alto for 11 guests who competed with donations to the Unitarian Church for the privilege of a Middle Eastern Feast with entertainment.

The guests were served a fantastic dinner of Koubeideh (lamb kababs), Chicken with Apricots, Cashew Rice, Hummous, Baba Ghanouj and Baklava all made by the Host Kay Brown and served with the help of her husband Byron.  After dinner the guests were treated to a traditional line-up of solo dances ending with a lovely candle dance by the troupe.  After the entertainment, Indigenous was invited to partake of the dinner and it was delicious.  A good time was had by all.

Kay has asked us back for next years auction item:  A Latin Feast with yours truly and Indigenous performing the Latin Set of Fusion Belly Dance.  See you next year Kay!
